This 70% IPA solution-based decontaminate spray meets the United States CDC guidelines for the disinfection of vehicles and homes. It is ideal for use on steering wheels, door handles, center console, dash, and all other hard surfaces in the interior of your vehicle. 70% IPA is a commonly used cleaner and disinfectant within pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and cleanrooms. Alcohol kills germs by breaking down its cell walls. Take preventive measures to kill germs and reduce the spread of sickness. Higher concentrations of IPA (75-99%) don’t generate more desirable effectiveness against bacteria, fungi and viruses. This is because, there has to be a significant enough presence of water with the Isopropyl alcohol in order to be effective. This percentage of water needs to be at least more than 10% within the solution. The mixture of 30% water with 70% Isopropyl alcohol works best.
